Hello to all this is my first post we have our motor home on my sons drive and have access to electric why do other motor home users keep their m/h plugged in at winter as I’m new to this

If you have a modern charger it will keep your battery/s as good as new.

You can put a small heater in to keep it fresh.

The drain on the batteries with some modern MHs is so bad they are dead in a month if you do nothing -- burglar alarm and control panels. That is DEAD as in never to be used again.

Hi and flyingwelcome I always leave mine connected to the mains on my drive and this time of the year the heating is on low.

Hi, lots of people keep a tiny bit of heat in the van when it really gets cold. Wood can swell and split and cupboards doors won't close etc

I don't normally bother, but last winter the wood covering on my fridge door swelled and split:Doh: So I'm thinking of maybe using something like this if this winter is as bad as last year. Anyway, the best thing is to get it of the drive and drive it as much as you can. Welcome to the fun:thumb:
