Many thanks Roger & Sue - excellent weekend - I do need to apologise to you though on an earlier post I accused you of not spending enough time on your knees praying for good weather in fact you surpassed yourself - not only did you organise good weather you made sure any rain came overnight to keep the dust down. :ROFLMAO:

That's it..... back to work today.... a bit difficult but hey ho that was worth it!!!!!! Had a really great time !!! Nice and warm weather as ordered by Mister Marshal Roger!

Thanks very much to Roger and Sue for their kindness and hospitality and for the matress which allowed me good nights (special thanks to Sue who had me as a quite permanent guest for dinner:Blush::Blush:.... that haggis was hmmmmm! and for the nice day i spent with her roaming in Wells!!)

Many many thanks as well to Kath and Bill (champers) for the tent and all the stuff they provided for me to be as in a 4stars hotel ... that was sOOOOooooooo much appreciated !!I never felt cold or damp that was super:thumb::thumb::thumb:

Thanks as well to my dear Prince JJ who was so charming !!! Picked me up at Bristol airport, drove me to Bath, provided the hotel (well i won't mention the little walking bit from parking place to center of town where the hotel was as i know from the deep bottom of my heart that the dear soul wanted to give me some excercise in case i wouldn't feel fit enough to make the meet in the best conditions:RollEyes::RollEyes:.... JJ , even if my feet are still sore i forgive you my friend i know you only done it for my own good:roflmto::roflmto::roflmto:)
He treated me as a queen when i'm just a princess:ROFLMAO: and even took me to the best french restaurant in town! At least ,now he knows how to eat properly french snails as i made a demonstration:Eeek::Eeek:.
He drove me back as well to Bristol airport yesterday morning with plenty of time for me to feel no stress (John-champers helped him a bit errr just a bit:RollEyes: .... but that's another story:roflmto::winky:)

That was really nice to meet old and new friends as i'm not very good with people names and too afraid to forget someone so will only talk about dogs! Bruno, Ezzie, Tilly and Lulu, Shelby, Leia and Saddie, Kaya, Rosie oops ... can't remember Alan and Lynda's one sorry Laneside i'm useless:Blush: Giddy Shana and others i saw but never had a paw with!

Just to name one as a bit of an exception.... thanks to happyhippy to have make the effort to come and try to socialise a bit as it is not really his cup of tea. That is true you are a bit different Rob but who cares??? not me anyway!

I was delighted to meet Jaydee who just call in for a few minutes! Hope to meet you for more than a few minutes when you'll come to Toulouse!

I've really been spoilt rotten by Mr and Mrs ShiftZZ..... you 2 better come soon so i can have a chance to cook some nice french meal for you (shall i add the magic word Dave??? CAKES will be on the menu!!!::bigsmile:::bigsmile:)

What can i add?? You are all wonderfull people and i love you all .You were the sunshine just with your kind words and your welcoming smiles!!!!! Hope to meet you all again soon in Toulouse or when i'll be touring england next year in august

Affectueusement à tous

Thank you Roger and Sue for a great weekend, and to all Funsters for making us feel welcome on our first meet.
A big thank you goes to Dellwood33 for sorting out a water leak that we had in the motorhome. It is nice to know that there are people out there who will drop everything to help someone new to motorhoming when they are in trouble.
Hope to meet up with you all again very soon. :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Charades even though you said you didnt want to. Joy and I were most impressed.

Cant wait to see the photos of us invisible seven sitting astride the miniature train. Stuart your long legs made fantastic arm rests. The funsters minds will be boggling.

Take care all and hope to see you at Bath.

well done Roger and Sue for an excellent meet...

... The meet was so good there is an overflow... Champers and Onderweg are in Bath now... Movan and Nannyjan will be in a layby nearby tonight and I am contemplating testing the local bobbies knowledge of the law by running the VeloSolex into town later!!!

JJ

John (Champers) was at a bit of a loose end as Kath has gone to checkout the new shopping centre so I have introduced him to a couple of local pubs. He has fitted in instantly!!!!!

Thanks Roger for a grand weekend, what a heady mix, beautiful sun, exceptional company & a fervent yearning for BLACK PUDDING. Next year I don't move until I try some !!! Sarah's apple turnover went someway to resolving a major disaster however as did the company. Champers suits the man to be sure & he does bring a new meaning to kissing the blarney stone,:ROFLMAO: Cath lass could there be more to the new title than you thought??. Simon, Sarah, Ted & Heather you certainly took care of a pair of deserving (?) geriatrics. begorrah, bejesus & bedad thanks again, the only down side? wishing a year away for the rerun!!!!!!!

Fond regards
