I've been looking at older Hymers, all for much more money than this. I'll be honest; I like the idea of newer mechanical parts and a lower FSH. I also like the separate area for the drivers cab.

Obviously, if I only spend £7k, I can get cracking with my plans much earlier than expected.

How much does 'winterising' cost? I'd expect to go pretty much full time in this with my Mrs and two small dogs for around 12 months (maybe much more)

Any thoughts or advice?

if its genuine grab it seems very very cheap. Then again could well be a con of some sort.
winterising is a matter of insulation, is there room to add it, tanks inside are the real answer is there room.

Hi Again Stu

Looks a real bargin if your going for a look buy a damp meter or get a local caravan tech to have a look for you as it might save you money now but make sure it is fit for what you want.

We have an elddis which isnt winterised but our fresh water tank is inside under dining chair with our wast one outside we have had no problems with the fresh one but last new year while at ayr our waste froze it was -9 so we leave the drain open into bucket so no water sits in tank apart from that the van is fine and most of the cold comes from the windscreen so if you can close it off even better.

Hi
I agree with John , it looks too good to be true.. either a misprint or a scam

£17 k would be a more realistic price ..

if not , then grab it

Got to agree with Jim and Goe on this.....

its either a scam or a misprint as i would expect £17k to £20k.

if it really is genuine, which is doubtful, then first stop would be an HPI check to check for insurance issues and outstanding finance....both of which could stop you dead.

I would say that if that's the correct price it would have had dealers crawling all over it to snap it up !.
