did you see this post on the DIY forum .. :Eeek::Eeek:

Also installed my own lpg gas cooker and would be the first to admit Im not competent but hey ho no can stop me. I used 10mm soft drawn copper for the 10m pipe run to the gas bottle and connected inside the house using some rubber hose I had lying around and stuck this over the end of the copper.
Works fine and cost me nothing as the bits were lying around to hand

Looks scary to me.... i do admit that I had a huge fallout with the company that supplied my new home cooker. I fitted it myself, did all the checks necessary, and after a few years mentioned it to a gas fitter who was in checking for a leak and he checked it and found no problem....lol....saved me a fortune.

you will need an lpg cooker hose(not a natural gas one)
think they have a red band on them
unless you fit it rigid (copper or iron pipe)

Sorry but you can`t fit a cooker on ridgid pipe it has to be on a flexible hose with a bayonet also yes it has to have the red band on it to identify it as LPG, and a stabilizing chain.
