hi we have just been to Scarborough Yorkshire and found you can stay from 6pm to 9am for free on the North Bay ,We went last week for 4 nights and the best turn out was 23 vans ,see you all there malc and sue lincolnshire:thumb:

Best day for Scarborough is 5th Nov
Everyone turns up with their own fireworks on the beach
Last year there were 7 bonfires going at one time
Great evening... and the burgers from the RNLI were great as well..

Sounds great but like all gatherings of wild campers; once the number of vans increase someone realises how much revenue they are loosing and up go the no camping signs. Wild camping/parking should be restricted to one or two vans if we want to keep on going:thumb::thumb:.

Must agree it's a case of use it and lose it. If done in too greater numbers.
