Hi Folks

The best deal I can find for a European trip (breakdown cover) is £161 from Green Flag for a 1994/7.5m/4500Kg motorhome.

Is this about as good as it gets? I had hoped for a lower premium for a single trip.

thanks
Rog

If your motorhome insurance is in place already try the RAC Arrival scheme you do have to be a member of the caravan club to join it, I dont think anyone does a value for money policy for just one trip:thumb:

Lampie, I'm with Sureterm. They do offer EU breakdown cover but you have to take it at the same time as the insurance - you can't purchase it afterwards. It costs £172.

Since my first post I have discovered that Green Flag don't handle anything greater than 3.5t. It was Green Flag that quoted me £161

Adventure, do you have contact details - I'd like to try them?

Rog

Rog,

If you are thinking of changing insurers to get recovery/breakdown cover try Comfort. It's about £55 with them through RAC no restrictions and 365 day cover in the EU and the cover is extended when a manual Green Card is issued. :thumb:

PS, you will get there in the end.:thumb:
