Just got in from 2 weeks in France, got down to Saint-Georges-de-Didonne,and found we didnt want anymore then to park by the beach during the day then move out to Talmont-Sur-Gironde in the evening to stay in the car park. Terrific area, did wonder up to La Palmyre for the zoo when the sun didnt shine, but didnt like the very busy Aire there.
All in all after coming back via Mont-St-Michel, very enjoyable first foray
into France. Did about 50/50 Aires & wild camping, very easy and all very
friendly when you make the effort,"and i am shy honest", will be back asap got itch now to explore channel coast of peak next time.
Was surprised that most of the time, we never came across another GB van untill we where nearlly home.
Still have to sort out a weekend away for the g/daughters now, so heres to
the next trip. Will put up some photos as soon as i am sorted.
Again thanks for everybody that puts out info / advice all very useful.:thumb::thumb:
