Looking (hopefully) to get 10/14 days off beginning of Oct, take Jackie down to
the Champagne area, anyway years ago when coaching took a party that way
to I think (not sure cant remember now) Epernay.
What I need to know is, I remember in the main entrance area they had a huge
Carriage that they used in Paris Show in early 1900s then a lift down to the cellars in a
lift that was like a hot air balloon, anyone who has done it will know what I'm on
about.
Also they had a train that was unmanned took you round the caves.
Can anyone tell me was it Epernay & what company?
Just cant remember as every week on tour was different. Old Age :roflmto:

We went down the Mumm caves in Reims a few years back - it was free AND we got a glass of bubbly at the end of the tour :thumb:

Don't suppose it's still free now though...
