I was a Lurker now I want to say Thank you (1 Viewer)

I have been lurking on this site for around 6 months now and thought it was time to register and say a huge Thank You to all the people who take the time to help others and answer their questions.

My partner and I bought an alredy converted LDV bus last yr and were all set to start going away when we noticed a very weird musky smell in the bus.
After closer inspection we realised all the flooring was rotten and the bus had huge holes everywhere! Needless to say we were devasted

Then I found this forum and you gave me hope :thumb:
I read thread after thread on how to do things and how to go about sorting out the problems we had, how to do electrics and other stuff we needed and now 6 months down the line we have finally rebuilt the bus and I am so excited to get started on our travels in a bus that WE built with little knowledge.

So all of you that help people on here please give yourselves a huge pat on the back from me as without you I would still have a rusty, stinky, good for nothing bus.

I would have loved to come to the quiz tonight but it is a sunny day up here which means more work on the bus.

I have been having problems sticking the purple fur to the roof, I was using carpet glue, but I now have the high temp glue that I need to do the job properly thats what I will be doing whilst you are all quizzing

I only have 1 more week to work on it before we go away for 3 weeks in it!
