Left early saturday morning, 90 ish miles to Tenby West Wales.
Forgot to mention, no TV or generator :Eeek:

2.5 hours later arrive in Tenby. Payed £1.50 to park all day :thumb:
Nice day after leaving the rain in Swansea :ROFLMAO: Had lunch, bit of shopping.Woolworths now replaced by Tescos Express  Back to van for an afternoon seesta. Woke up sandwitch, cup of tea. Dvd family film. Me, the wife, daughter and dog hudled round a 10" dvd player :ROFLMAO:. Then moved off to Kilgetty for a site free night.

Sunday, water heater on for a wash, local radio station on. Carw market in the morning and a walk round the car boot sale. Sunday dinner in Woodridge pub. Nice. Saundersfoot in afternoon, with an ice cream. Visited friends with a static van, and bbq. Back to Kilgetty for another free nights camping !! Another chick flick DVD evening, then bed.

Monday, a day in Pendine sands. £2.00 parking for a couple of hours. Bacon and tomato sandwitches, and cup of tea in the van. Back down to beach.

All in all, cracking weather, free camping and £40 of diesel======= PRICELESS :thumb:

Nice weekend::bigsmile: We enjoy Saundersfoot and Tenby, they are both great destinations (outside of the school summer holidays when it can be very busy) nice traditional seaside towns, the kids love them. :thumb:

We used to go to Tenby regularly for family holidays. Sounds a perfect weekend. Where did you stop in Kilgetty? Sounds like a good introduction to wild camping for a long weekend...

All the best

Mark sounds like a good week end, you missed one good nights wild camping though when you were parked on the car park at Pendine Sands the little lane at the side of the car park with the derelict bungalow, tuck away around the back had two night there no bother, one of the locals told us about it. Lovely area for touring around though. ::bigsmile:

Theres a free car park just oppesite the Hiundai garage. With public toilets, that are busy i might add. But no bother at all. Also there is a coop supermarket just 100m away that sell everything, open all year round :thumb:
