Just returned from hollis & Brown Autotech Ltd who fitted an A Frame to my Smart. Total cost £1004 inv VAT Next stop Watling Engineers in St Albans on 21st next month for the tow bar. Cost around £585

Yes, they wanted £1500 but that did include a vacum assisted braking system, which is not needed on a Smart.

armatidges do the smart a-frame for diy fitment for £650, or £850 fitted, all including vat.

this is a proper braked frame, and i like the way they do the brake connection to the pedal, not thru the bulkhead as some do, it connects to the pedal under the floor, no need for the bungee round the pedal with this method either,

I have just got a smart car with the a frame fitted and also a tow bar they are both fitted nice but were do you stop
