Anyone know where I might get some lower seat bases for a 1990 Ducato? There are plenty available for later versions but I'm a bit stuck for this. Or do I just need an angle grinder......:Eeek:

Theres a lot to be said for the angle grinder approach!! :thumb:

Cheap, effective and you can alter them to the exact height you are after!!

Just dont set fire to anything with the sparks :ROFLMAO:

I once set fire to my jeans with an angle grinder, it tends to make you more careful in future ::bigsmile:

seat base

I marked and cut around my seat base with motorised saw with a metal cutting blade - it is only thin gauge metal and didn't take very long. The bottom of the seat base then fitted nicely inside the top of the base to a depth of two inches, this compensated for the swivel seat that I added. I then welded around base and painted it. My MH is 1998.
