Dear dell in the wood - ain't that romantic - if you want the best price for the books, get writing the author's names inside - looking something like signatures.

If anyone asks, try to stop them buying- they'll pay so fast, and get away without looking at another one!!! I'm not suggesting you say it's signed by the author, of course...

No need to resort to fraudulent scamming, the books are free, anyone can collect them at Newbury:Smile:
(Not sure you would find me that romantic either )

C'mon, Dick and Barabara, it was a JOKE. I love books - back in the eighties, I wasted some time counting and I had over 10,000 even then! I used to get through at least one a day, on average - War and Peace clearly an exception - and some I realise after a few pages are not for me. Then of course lots are technical on various hobbies or work projects, but books are beyond price.

Wish I could bag some of yours, but I'm stuck in Glen Haggis.

Dixon Sorry not got any of those but really recommend the Ken Follet one and also the World without End of his too.

Also, for a bit of light reading too there is Jo Brand ... her first NOVEL.... Well worth a read whether you are a fan or not... it is called 'The More you Ignore Me'.

Please post any others that Barbara would like and I will keep an eye out for them. Joy
