I have a Billion router, BiPAC 7402(G)X(L) Series that has a USB port to take a Huawei HSDPA USB dongle. this enables me to position the dongle in the roof for a better reception (I live in the sticks). It also allows me to use any one of my computers from any where near the house by a secure WiFi connection
Now this system works fine with the Vodafone dongle that I have, but I have moved onto a Three.co dongle that out-dates the router and the router has no drivers for this unit which is a Huawei model E122.
I have spoken to router manufacturers and the say they have no firmware for it at the moment but they think it may be possible change the setting to get the router to recognize it.
Has any one go any experience with this combo?
