Scotland does crop up regularly but not Scottish meets.

Have you considered a Scottish meet - goodness knows you've got some grand places - simple field, toss the odd caber and enjoy a strong cup of tea, if you can't play the pipes just dip a cat or two into some boiling water.

I'm serious, distance wise at today's running costs you are at a big disadvantage in Scotland, where all the suvvern gits can just nip across to the French resorts it costs you an arm and a leg. So a FUN highland/lowland gathering would be great and probably attract a few sassanachs if you don't ban them. I've three Scottish grandchildren so consider myself honorary Scot.

Hi Brian yeh your right it would cost me a fortune to nip to france as you do, LOL i am off work in july for two weeks and am trying to price the cheapest way to get to spain from here, i,m 5 mins from rosyth so idealy it would be easier to jump on the ferry their and go to zeebourge but the last i checked they want about 5-600 pounds or i might take your advice and travel scotland, i would love to do spain though, where are you off to this year, where in scotland are your family. :thumb:

Just started!
Bit further north again, we're near Inverurie, also with an Autoroller, a 700.

Cheers,

Rod.

We normally go a bit further north and usually 'wildcamp'. Easy for us 'cos it's just the 2 of us and our wee dog to amuse..
