Hi Everyone. We are off to Norfolk this week. Possible first night at Sandringham CC and then following the coast round. Any recommendations for CL or quiet sites or even wild camping spots? Don't like the big places with clubhouses and all that stuff.

The C C site at West Runton is nice and quiet, we stayed there last summer. staying this weekend at Seacroft in Cromer, probarbly a big site but just want to try it as it is near the sea front. If you see us give us a wave.

We are off to Gatton Waters this coming week. It is quite close to Sandringham.

It's an adult only site, quiet, peaceful and good fishing. Pitches are by the lakeside and whilst they are not "hardstanding" the ground is very hard and well drained, even after rain.

£16 per night including electrics etc.

There are decent CL sites in Holt we have stayed on 3 different ones, the last time at the weekend one situated on the Cley Road. Also agree the CC site at West Runton Incleboro Fields is lovely and it seems quieter when we've been since Seacroft opened, great view if you get a 'terrace pitch'.

We 'overnighted' at a site called 'The White House' - A149 Bastwick On the Great Yarmouth Road) - which was a tiny site, but very well equipped and flat and firm! It is close to the main road but was really quiet and peaceful - so we stayed a few days. Think it was £14 a night for non members.

Within walking distance of the broads and boat hire, and an interesting shop called Lathams (to the cornish - it is like trago, but smaller, and much, much worse! It's all cheap but never complete!) and there is a chip shop nearby.

Just up the road is Rollesby, where the Horse and Groom is a nice place for a meal.

People that own is are very nice, the old lady and her son run the place, and nothing is too much bother!

Just back from hunstanton, stayed at Searles. Had a lovely big pitch with very quiet neighbours both sides.

Even got sunburnt.

There is a quiet site that has also opened along from Searles, it hasnt got a name and only has a few pitches, it is in between some houses. Avoid it. If you want to know why PM me
