hi my name is bob and im converting a sprinter and have come across a problem? what is the differance between a lpg cooker for the home to one for a motorhome as they both use the same gas bottle? ive been told i would be kicked of a site if i used a house cooker? please help me with my little problem. thank you

I am no expert on gas, and no doubt some more knowledgable person will be along shortly. In all my many many years of motorcaravanning no site has ever inspected my cooking arrangements so:RollEyes: I think it vanishingly unlikely you would be kicked off a site whatever you used.

Personaly I dont know of any diference between the two, as long as you make sure it is an LPG cooker and not mains gas.
The only diference is the LPG jets are not the same as mains gas.

Can't see the problem if it runs on bottled gas at home it will be ok in the van.

The same as far as I know.....

Just make sure it's installed and tested ......oh.....and vented correctly.

Normally anything larger than a 13kg red bottle is frowned upon

I did P.M. you last night and following on from that, the best advice I can offer is to ring the manufacturer of the cooker and ask the technical department if it's O.K. to fit the cooker in the location you described.
I would be grateful if you could let me know the outcome.:Cool:
