The Duo Batman and Robin (alias JJ & Smudger) are now on there way back to England.......left Portugal Thursday morning...having had a few problems with the WINNEBAGO of smudger's on the way, oil, water lights on, still no wipers even though the new part came from the USA, trailer brakes stuck on, and smoke?......they managed to travel 243km and stopped at Vila Fomosa in Portugal, having left PEGO DO ALTA that morning ...the following morning hoping to reach the French border approximately 900km by Friday night.........having crossed the border of Portugal and Spain I then lost them on the radar and I have had no word since.......although I have sent many texts and emails to the the duo....:helpsos: :helpsos: ......2 1/2 days later :helpsos: I receive a text from Derek we are at Bordeaux and will be leaving at mid day today 21/3/2010 to continue our journey upwards to the north of France and Calais...............so it looks like they have not been covering the Km they had hoped for in a day ......Smudger (Derek) said he may contact again later, so watch the space..........no word from JJ may not have got out of bed yet!:Blush:

The latest Up date information on the Duo Batman and Robin...alias ..JJ & Smudger

Now at a Mc Donald's in Poitiers......Having left North of Bordeaux this dinner time 12.00 covering about 205km to 230km today, Made Skype contact while in McDonalds they have now booked the channel tunnel for Wednesday morning, so are now settling down for night.....they said hopefully they will see us on Tuesday so that means another stop in-between us and Poitiers, should be around Chartres or above towards Rouen .....:thumb:

making good time, the questions now being asked are 1) is Sidney at home, and 2) who's name dropping.
will the dynamic Duo be the surprise guests.
Will sidney have the hambugers on, is the bread fresh. Or will it be real food.

The latest on the boys JJ & Smudger alias Batman & Robin

The boys are in town.....from JJ
They have just arrived at our village 10.45pm French time (9.45 blighty time )on the N39(939) between Hesdin and St Pol sur Ternoise in the northern part of France Pas de Calais region....settling down will see them tomorrow.....they have done about 558km (346miles today).......parked right outside a fritterie so Derek (smudger) should be ok if open.

Now only about 70 to 80 miles off Calais and the tunnel Wednesday morning
