I bought a Feu Vert trailer while in Spain - very pleased with the way it does its job :thumb:

Trailer capacity (including its own weight) 500kgs so just right for a big bike.

I don't have the space to keep a fixed trailer, so I have one of these ::bigsmile:
Dismantles into easy sections for storage.

No, no, you've got it wrong. With a 1300 beemer YOU tow the MH.

You are in for one hell of a shock after a HD.

That looks like it might be able to fold in half and with the wheels still in place and whilst still attached to the towball, be able to swing up and attach to the back of the MH somehow? What do you think?

Have you had any problems with the smaller wheels getting hot?

Trailer hinges whilst attached to the towball and then the bike is driven into the front wheel support. A push down on the front & the trailer levels out & pins are put in place to secure it. Straps in place & off you go. Never had any problems with the small wheels, but I think larger ones are an option.

The other 5% made it home. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hi Neil, Something I've been thinking about for a long time. I've got an electra glide too. How do you manage to get it on and off the trailer given the bike's weight?

Hi blade1889,

Not for the feint hearted to be honest....

Recommended practice is to walk it up with the motor running ( I find having some help either side is good :whatthe:). For dismounting, a 2 wheel trailer is good - block under the rear and use the jockey wheel to raise the front 'til it grounds on the block, then gravity helps to let it roll back on the front brake (again helpers either side keeps the pulse rate within acceptable limits) job done!

The less people around to spectate the better, in case it all goes horribly wrong .

PS. Trailer may be for sale if you're interested :thumb:

Odd that I have a trailer identical to the Feu Vert in the picture Neil shows, but it was made in Lincolnshire !
Reckon there must be fairly stock plans that a lot of builders work from ( I now have a sold deck on mine in between the rails .. keeps an awful lot of crap and muck off the bikes )
