On my previous mot slips the class at which it was tested at is 1V or iv.
Is this class 6?
Looking to book mot and most places advertise class 4, 5 and 7?
Please can someone put me right.
MH taxed as PHG with a MAM of 3850kg

you will need a class 4 (iv) testing station.

most, if not all, motor homes are class 4 regardless of size and weight...even RV's.

check the garage first to see if it will physically fit in the mot bay and their lift is capable of lifting the weight.

mine is also 3850kg and the lift was struggling a bit as it was rated at 4000kg

See thi9s though as it looks like yours has a large rear 'locker'....Link Removed

agreed, but that only applies, if it applies at all, to goods carried that aren't conducive to everyday living in the motorhome....ie: a motorbike.

if the V5 says 'body type = motorcaravan' then it isnt a goods vehicle...its a motorhome with a large rear locker.

my opinion only. :thumb:
