If you have bought a laptop or netbook whilst in a country where the local language is not your own only to discover that Windows want you to buy another version of the operating system before it will let you change to something intelligible, there is a solution which costs nothing.

Great bit of information Patrick :thumb:

I have a Spanish PC which came with Vista in Spanish (of course) and had to put a copy of my XP on it to make it useable.

Basic Spanish is OK but computer technical stuff is a challenge :Doh:

If I ever want to go back to Vista I can now - thanks.
