Thanks to everyone for their advice about LPG in Spain. However, I have tried to fill up in a garage before I go and find that the filler nozzle at the petrol station will not fit my Gaslow filler connection. Am I missing something here, or do I have to use an adapter.

I think you have to use an adaptor. There are three types and this one is for Spain

Theres actually a 4th one on the market now which i havent seen before.

It has the thread on the back like the rest of then but the connection is a conical shaped fitting with a check valve inside.
The gaslow stand was selling them at the NEC on Sat. I persuaded my freind to buy it as £20 as he was going to portugal the next day for 7 weeks.

Sounds like it. I've never had a problem with the standard UK bayonet fitting.

Have you ever filled or is this your first time ?

The new euro adaptor we have not come across and dont bother trying to find gas in Spain, just got back and stay on Campsites and use there electric, but 20 ltrs will last at leased 6 weeks in winter cooking and heating the water.

We fill up before we enter Spain, that gives us 40 odd litres and we have plenty, if we wanted to stay longer we would get a Spanish bottle, and one of these:

Gaslow + filling station were the clues. So you got it wrong twice. Twice. For goodness sake you aren't nationalised are you ?

Gas fitting ?

Is your van a Euro model or from the UK ? but usually most petrol stations if you ask will have adapters,well they do in Europe,thats if they sell gas(lpg) at the pumps.
We are talking LPG for fuel not cooking ?same applies though ?!
