Where are you now Keith and Jean???

Ginny and Mike

Still at Moncofa as the weather hasn't been too bad here. However tonight the clouds are black & ominous so we may be in for a dumping ... not snow though like Dick reported for Scotland. :thumb:

Hi Ginny

We are on the campsite at Moncofa with the rallyers.

Camos still working OK even get ITV sometimes, along with all the Sky channels.

:ROFLMAO:probably not but I would't want to be on it most times. Anyway- would miss the drive which used to take me a fortnight to Spanish border(and there I stops before turning left for the Med). Anyway is not the "late" Santander ferry like deceased RIP.
But there is a new one (LD) that hops across the Bay of Biscay from South Bretagne to the Spanish North Coast.:shout:

The last time we had a deepening low that was this low in Biscay, we had 100mph winds in the UK - It was the storm that gave Michael Fish his claim to fame.

We were at Oradour-sur-Glane last night (Limoges) and had an absolute stunner of a thunderstorm in the evening, lasted a few hours. Then at about 1am the wind started (the stuff that blows outside and rocks the van) nearly as bad as the hurricane that hit us last year. Did not sleep very well  but all in one piece :thumb: The wind petered out sometime mid morning but it was still a bit hairy coming up here to Vierzon. Jane

I hope everyone has managed to survive the latest storm.
Reports on the BBC show the West Coast of France taking the biggest hit, with reports of 1 million being without electricity

We're about 30 miles east of Cadiz along the Costa de la Luz.

The storms last night by-passed up we just had a squall around tea-time.:thumb:

Hope everyone in Portugal, Northern Spain and Western France are ok!

Did P&O Bilbao actually sail????

Wouldn't like to have been in the Bay of Biscay last night!!!:Eeek::Eeek:

Storm came over Toulouse as well . Lots of damages !people injured and no electricity in a few places.
I'm happy yannick has moved from brittany.... he wouldn't have got far with his bike and his tent!!!!! I don't like him being in Costa Rica at the moment though.... there's a tsunami warning ... and he didn't give any news at all ! He seems to be stuck in the middle of the water...

In Brittany they said there are at least 45 people who died with the storm. Worst place is Vendée (my god mother lives there and we can't reach her on phone).
I hope none of the funsters were in the area!!!

Saw terrible scenes of flooding from France on TV last night , was that Brittany ? The predicted bad weather here hasn,t materialised yet, blue skie outside, may tempt fate and get the bike out

It showed Vendee on the telly last night. The streets were running with floods and there looked to be a lot of damage. Best wishes too everybody there.
