We are looking for a place to stop, Camp site or what ever close or in Torrevieja.

Ant ideas anyone? Must be open now.

there are two campsites in torrevieja

1. Florantilles near San Miguel which has a lot of semi permanent vans - Tel; 0034 965 720456

2. Camping la Campana on the main 332 at Punta Prima area of torrevieja - Tel: 0034 965 712152
both are classed as cat 2 campsites so = to 2 star

Florantilles is open all year Im not sure about Camping la Campana.

Guadamar is not that far from Torrevieja about 20/25km there you
Campng Marjal which is open all year

Santa Pola

Stayed at a campsite there about 6 years ago it was ok. not as luxurious as L.Medes tho thats about 15km. north of Torre.....a! Al sorry name of campsite eludes me

One good sites in La Marina village(about 15km north Torreveija) called La Marina International, another called Marjal about 12 km north of Torreveija, both on the N332. Both excellent but ''mucho dinero'', La marina best, easy walk to village and beach. Restaurants on site and close by.

There used to be one on the roundabout just as you come in from the north,I think they call the roundabout Paddys corner or somthing similar.

Long term reasonable``ish,, but getting expensive,,,,, Short term very expensive.. :Sad:

I would not go back again.. :Blush:

Can someone post prices for staying,short term and long term..please,saves on the searching and the embarrassment of stopping,asking and driving off !
As i have always wildcamped i have no idea how much to pay or what they should be ??

We are paying 12 Euros a night for 30 days, short stays will be between 15 & 20 Euros a night. That's just my experience no doubt others will have different views.

You can pay more on the 5 star sites.

Have to agree with this - we have a house on La Marina Urbanisation and hubby often goes to the campsite gym. The outside pool is fantastic but not sure if you'll want that this time of year but they do have an inside pool, small but OK.
Just noticed that you wild camp - there are always campervans in the car park at la marina beach in the winter (the police tend to move them on in the summer!)

Was going to put this info on but jaygee got there first but what the heck!

On way south, we stop with sis in law at La Marina urb and have visited both the beach and site at La Marina International. If you like wild camping go to the beach and the site isn't that far away so you could visit and suss it out. did have the brochure but passed it on. Its North of Guardamar so may be too far off for you!

Torrevieja

Hello Kieth.
We know the area quite well,this year Marjal last at Florantilles.
Marjal is very expensive for short stay,same for international at La Marina.
I would stay at Florantilles,clean easy reach of Torrevieja at a guess €12-15 pn.
Forget the one in Torrevieja (La Campano ?) it's a dump.
If you want to wild camp and plenty do,let me know,i can give directions.
At the moment there are 50 + vans in Santa pola,10 mins from Torre and about 25 at Pinet 5 mins.
