Just had following message - help

Did it give any more info re the exploit?Error codes or name of Software Triggering the report?

I haven't got any reports of that nature ...Seems it's just asking you to add it as a trusted site.

I didn't load Spyware doctor in the end because browser protection was not free, its a paid add-on

I just checked the site here though and it all appears to be OK

this has happened before to a member.....

his security software blocked a particular thread as it was posted (innocently) by a member who's screen name (or possibly the thread title) contained a vulgar word (again innocently)

a word like scunthorpe.....can you see the vulgar word yet ?

in that particular thread every time i typed scunthorpe the website censored it to s****horpe !!!! :Sad:

virus threat

Sorry did not get back to anyone till today - we lost internet connection completely till today - nothing to do with virus threat - - vodaphone problem - long story of changing to them cuz having nightmare with original supplier - where we are we are reliant on mast just outside site - if you drive mile up road you have signal - hey ho - after numerous phone calls - visits to shop - Col (who was IT with forces before he retired) explained to them that in their language ' pinging to mast' told them yeh it was there but they needed to 'xping' it to ask it to give diognostic. When they did this hey yeh it had a problem - we will fix no prob etc etc etc - another phonecall days later and told yes its fixed. No its not!!! convinced them eventually and suddenly about hour ago we were back on line. Only took nearly 3 weeks bless.

Guess that will be another visit to shop for bit of a chat about the payment for nearly a month when we had no internet.oh:oh:oh:

Big thanks for all your replies and fingers crossed - hate it when can't get onto site.
