Have always camped, caravaned or had boats. Now in our second year with the motorhome.
Were off to the lakes this weekend, however the online weather guesstimate states -7 at night. Ouch, hope the battery lasts 2 days running the eberspatcher. :Eeek:

Enjoy the weekend. We are off to Cambridgeshire but have decided to stay at friends instead of using M/H.

After looking up "eberspatcher" am i right in thinking its like our webasto diesel heating ? We managed 3 days (out of the 5) over the new year on a rally , no hook up, in -6 temps with ours. That was our first outing in her.
We woke up one morning all with freezing noses and 2 shivering Border Terriers ! Fortunately we had the genny with us , as we didn't know how long we'd get on the batteries with the MH being new to us.
Once we'd taken her for a spin we were OK again.
I'm going to Barton over the Humber Bridge with the kids tonight, after school.
Ralph's working over that way and hes staying in the MH in a little cl fortunately , with hook up:thumb:
Once hes got the time hes going to fix our big solar panel on the roof, we took it off the caravan, before we sold it. So hopefully that will help to keep the batteries charged a bit better.

Hope you managed over the weekend.
Wasn't it freezing???
We went over to Hornsea on Saturday in the MH . They had had at least 2 inches of snow .
We Got some fish n chips from Sullivan's (yummy)and drove to the end of the sea front, by the statics.
Parked up and ate them looking out to the very choppy sea. All sat in t shirts, toasty warm !!
God bless Webasto (diesel heating) Bliss.
It does have its plus points.
After lunch we all wrapped up and went out for a long walk with the kids n dogs on the beach. The kids were throwing SNOWBALLS at each other , never done that on a beach before.
