Just tried out of interest to see what it would cost for the dates we booked on Eurotunnel, £25 outward & £31.25 return. Not too bad but doesn't beat £31.50 in Tesco vouchers in total for a Eurotunnel :thumb::thumb:

Hi All,

I followed the link as usual that they send us, giving £4 off the return journey (so even if you haven't got a code, some of the fares should be £19)

Booked 4th August to 23rd August.

Some times were coming up at £40 but some at £17, which is what we booked!

Can't believe it myself really because I just booked for a car return in feb and it cost over 40 quid!

Damn all the suvverners !!

Lovely offer like this and it costs £120 in fuel to take it up :-(

Got to feel sorry for the Scots.

Doris

I've worked in Scotland a lot, around Aberdeen. My daughter lives just south of Glasgow so there's many a time I've thought of the huge distances involved.

But these suvverners - well, they want a hill, they can choose Scotland at 700 miles or Switzerland at 500 miles. I love Scotland but there's no comparison to Swiss hills.

Rosyth to Calais is about 500 miles, 1000 miles @ 25mpg = £200. Ferry £100. So there's no contest in cash terms.
