That must be a hell of lot cheaper that Ghiant fixing spray.

Is it waterproof?

As previously said hairspray if the way forward, or for a 100% foolproof method laminate the page.

My niece is doing her architecture degree and she uses hairspay a lot on her drawings :thumb:

As far as I know hairspray is an aqueous solution and isn't waterproof .. if it was how would it wash out of hair ?

Lamination is by far the better way to protect a print..

Thing is, I'm worried about the finish achievable with hairspray?

I'm printing some digital photos on a colur HP inkjet printer and these will be used as the final finishing surface on a scale model which is why I want a really good finish.

Will hairspray be good enough?

That's a good point, Jim. But maybe it has water resistant properties that break down with shampoo. Agree about the lamination, but there are times when lamination isn't the answer, like when making a photo Christmas card for my Aunt and Uncle. Not that theyre in the habit of immersing their Xmas cards in water , but accidents can happen.

Sorry I missed your post when it was moved to lifestyle.
Have checked my can and PC World website, PC Line is part of their range but they presumably no longer stock it.
However, you will find some on www.amazon.co.uk Ghiant in gloss matt or satin at £8.10 300ml can
