I just had my AA renewel come through £149.58,so looked around and found RAC do the same cover for £84.44 so rang the AA to cancel my renewel and they relooked at my renewel and give me the same cover as last year for £87.99.
i use the AA as they can recover up to 3.5 ton and had to use them 3 weeks ago to change a blow out on the m27 and they were there within an hour, but i dont have eurupean cover so might be a no for you.

Mine is through my insurer. AIB, this includes full UK and EU with repatriation if I cannot drive for any reason. Around £250.00 for insurance and breakdown together. My van is 4 tonne. So suggest you ask your insurer for a quote for both it could be quite a saving.

Green Flag + better cover = Mayday through C&MC for UK (Covers 2 cars & MH)
On the continent: Red Pennant (C&MC) for total cover, inc. travel insurance = sit back and let them do all the work, including local negotiations, replacement vehicle, repatriation etc., etc..

I think most company's and I know the RAC do in Europe is euro assist and they have a coverage of company's they use all over Europe
Do check exact coverage you have, I had a breakdown in Europe and the cover wasn't brilliant i.e. Car hire for 1 week or a hotel and had to arrange own flights home and back and had a total cover of £500 for everything over than recovery

Thats about 30 miles,,my local garage will recover me from that distance free.. Ask the AA to get you an ambulance and repatriate you your van and a couple of dogs from Morocco,,,they would laugh at you,,,Nothing is too much trouble for ADAC,,BUSBY.

Adacs recovery restriction is a cost of €300 euro I believe. (And they use the AA) .
Unless it's something I've missed? Where did you see that?
@busby post underlines how good ADAC are

i have not got cover for europe so why would the AA be intrested if i needed recovering from morocco?
I have no desire to motorhome anywhere but the uk so dont need cover for europe or morocco,so i will stick with the AA.
But ask ADAC to recover you from scotland to london, they would laugh at you,and if you could afford it you would be paying the full AA fee because thats who ADAC use in the uk.
also i avoid any german products, even their cars,no german products in my house.
