Sorry, real basic question here.

Are MHs (not RVs) normally FWD or RWD?

Sorry, real basic question here.

Anything on a Fiat is FWD (Peugeot is pretty much the same vehicle);
Anything built on an older Transit (Ford) is most likely to be RWD (I can't think of any FWD Transits until recently)
Mercedes are (I think) all RWD
Renaults are (again I think) FWD

Anything else is a mystery to me too.:Smile:

Since 2005! 2000+ nights so far...
I'd say in the main the cheaper makes are FWD.

Why the question? FWD is ok but tend to get bogged down easier
RWD can tend to use more under-floor space

The new transit van conversions (newer one than mine) you can have a choice of FWD, RWD and even AWD.

I want the latter next but daren't even think about hte cost!!

most small [ish] european vans tend to be FWD
not really a problem imo - unless you have a full english kitchen across your back axle
and you get benefit of more usable space and easier access

try using winter / mud & snow tyres on your drive wheels
