On the lunch time news Euro Tunnel has said that the are closing check in today, even if you have a reservation for today they will not check you in due to unprecedented demand

the latest from eurotunnel 15:30 is that the check in is closed to car traffic.
i am supposing that coaches and lorries and perhaps us motorhomes might make it.
but it goes on to say that once there is space at the folkestone terminal the check in would re open for cars
