Getting better month by month.
Whale Island Way. As you leave the ferry port and before hitting the motorway, you can turn left towards HMS Excellent and park up in a small car park there.
PO2 8EW - 50.815744,-1.090793 never used it myself as I live locally.

That or Port Solent as above

I have driven passed there loads of times on the way to HMS Excellent and have seen a few MH in there, but that was quite few months ago. If not, then Port Solent will definately have the room and also has the luxury of food, drink and the cinema. I would try Whale Island first as Port Solent is only 10 mins along the motorway

Or stop off at the Winchester park and ride and have a mooch around Britains original capital city.. .then drive on to Pompey to catch your ferry in the evening. ..

You could park on top of Portsdown Hill and grab a Mick's Monster Burger, that will set you up for the day and probably the next aswell

I am there fairly regularly and my understanding is that the staff will move you on if you park on the marina car parks.

However I rang the leisure park office about parking overnight in the main carpark after eating in one of the restaurants and they were really helpful. Apparently they put a note in the log to let security know not to knock on the door and request the owner to move. Phone number on the Port Solent leisure park website.

We didn't sleep very well because of the motorway noise and next time would chose to park at Portsdown hill or Hayling Island.
