Noted. (y) Looks delicious and a nice setting too. Considering that France big themselves up as the Gastronomic centre of the universe, we have been disappointed so many times in France. But, when it is good it is very good.

I have been to La Tupina a couple of times. Absolutely Bloody Fantastic!!!! I didn't find it extortionately expensive though.

I always found lunchtime eating in France and Spain very good value for money as long as you do not deviate from the plat de jour. Its much the same the world over and thats why we tend to eat out at lunchtime as opposed to night. For a change we had the earlybird dinner at The Old Blind School Liverpool last night, who have a half price offer on during July and August. I can recommend if anyone is in the area.

We stayed at Village du Lac in Bordeaux.
It has a bus stop right out side which links
with a tram that goes directly to the city.
The city and the restaurant are well worth
a visit.(y)

I hope you have a great time!:)

Just noticed. That table you are sat at is the same table I sat at the last time I went. Just round the corner from the open fire that they cook on. In fact you are sat in my seat :p

I didn't notice that picture first time I read this thread.

I really want to go back there again...

Treat yourself to Benedicts in Norwich, you don't have to have an expensive menu, the two or three course lunch is very good value and brilliant food. Make sure you book, its very popular. Try looking at the Trip Advisor revues which would give you a flavour (excuse the pun) of what its like.
