To funsters.
I have a large spreadsheet of names and I am trying to split them up into different fields.,

The 1st column contains the following data
James John Hughes
Rudolph Smith
Betty Davies
Norbert Jones-Hughes
Cassandra Betty Philips Jane Wilson

This is what I want to achieve...
James John _________________________________________Hughes
Rudolph ____________________________________________Smith
Betty ______________________________________________Davies
Norbert ____________________________________________Jones-Hughes
Cassandra Betty Philips Jane ____________________________Wilson

I can’t see a way of using text to columns....
Any suggestions?

import data to a spreadsheet, make a text file and separate text with a comma, import domma delimited file, job done.
i.e.

john francis, jones
fred, bloggs
might need commas after surname as well. Try it and see.

Thanks guys.

Its the two 1st names that causing the problem, it would be easy, if I could split it from the right to the 1st space.

I assume its an Excel Spreadsheet that your working on.

Open a new page, In the first cell (A1) type whatever name you want in there. Move to the right (second column) and tpe whatever name you want in there. So on and so on.

Move down column A to the second row and do the same again.

Is this the sought of thing you want?
