Isolate a sentence in a post (1 Viewer)

Quite often when replying to a post, rather than reproduce the entire post it is better to isolate the relevant part of the post and reply to that alone.

I used to be able to do it but try as I may I cant do it now.

How's it done.

two ways jim......either quote the whole post and in the reply box highlight and delete the bits you DONT WANT or in the original post highlight the bits you DO WANT, copy and paste into the reply.

at least the delete version puts it in its own 'box'

copy and paste is ok but it doesnt show it as a quote and if you highlight and copy any of the [/QUOTE] it includes it in the text which you dont need or want.:thumb:

Copy the bit you need

quote the post


highlight all the text in within the quote quote and press delete on the keyboard


Right click and paste the bit you want between the quotes::bigsmile:
