Hi
Anyone got any tips either to stop the condensation on my windscreen in the mornings or how is the best way to clear it without getting a puddle on the dash and a smeared vision

We leave one of the cab windows open a wee crack.. that seems to stop most of it..
But to clear any excess we use a microfibre cloth ( Pucka one I import from Sonys in America, not the rubbish things you get in supermarkets and the like ! ::bigsmile: )

I have found fitting EXTERNAL blinds the most effective

Cheap way is to put some bubble wrap over the outside of the windscreen or spend money on external screens

internal curtain to screen the cab area off works for us, but then we don't have heating in the van

as others have said.....external screens.
moist warm air inside, cold air outside = condensation on windows.
external screens insulate the out glass surface.
dont use internal screens in winter as they can cause condensation.

Hi,

Been using ours for the last 3 years all through the winter and during the summer at times without any problems YET, but just to be on the safe side as for-armed is for-warned can you let us know what problems you have had,

Thanks

Braunston

External screens have a whole different set problems in winter.

The obvious is, if it is raining or snowing you get wet and cold putting them on and taking them off, also the blinds themselves are wet.

I haven't a problem with that I just watch Graham getting wet :ROFLMAO:, seriously that is a down side if you take them off for storage but they are better than internal one.

Hi Wanderer, Given that you can't avoid the condensation and you use internal screens as I do,( don't like externals because I almost exclusively 'Wild') then leave the screen on the dash or lay down a sheet of poly, then squeedgie the windows, the poly wil catch almost all the water then just shake it out of the door, SEEMPLES!:thumb:
