Yippee we're off, nearly anyway. A slow journey down to Benidorm, can't believe it's here. Back home for Christmas otherwise the children would not forgive us.

We're returning on the Bilbao to Portsmouth ferry later this afternoon after 72 days away in France and Northern Spain. Marine weather forecast for Biscay is good with light winds and slight seas.

I say our children would not forgive us which is true but I absolutely love Christmas at home and whilst they all want to be together that's great, I think I get just as excited as they do if not more so!
