Very smart pup, hope he doesn't outgrown it too quickly.
What breed is he? Looks very cuddly.

He's a Cockapoo and yes he will probably out grow it quickly but as he's so furry I wanted some way of keeping him clean and dry on the beach for our holiday!! It wasn't too expensive!! He's doubled in size since we got him already!!

When he's full grown, Trover Coats are very good for use after the beach, bit expensive though. Nige makes our three similar things sooo much cheaper. Build up a supply of microfiber towels and cloths handy to carry round in van.

Dogs and coats? What's that about? Don't they already have one that's part of them? :)

I think it's for our convenience :). The same with horses, we clipped their natural costs off then put an unnatural rug on to keep them warm. But they didn't get sweaty when ridden so didn't take long to dry off afterwards.

Lovely puppy though.

We've got a Westie, now 19 months. Don't really believe in coats (except maybe hi-viz harness) but we've educated him to head straight for his towel if he's got wet or mucky while we're out in the van. At home a couple of dirt-buster mats work okay but again he comes straightaway for a rub down when we get his cleaning mitts out - a pair of microfibre mitts.

The ones we use are for after swimming, heavy rain, they are more of a fitted towel, absorbs all the moisture, they wear them until dry. They seem to like them, they get a towel off then put them on, all rush to put heads through em, if we don't put the on they all roll rub along the sofas or rugs trying to dry off, in the towels curl up and nap. They are great in winter, in the sunshine they just lay outside until dry turning themselves around as necessary. :)
Nige is just in process of making some tube ones for taking to Spain just to cover their bodies not legs, keeps van a bit dryer after a wet walk.
