Hello All,
We're looking to buy another motorhome. We were initially looking at getting an older 6 berth but have now decided to look for a slightly newer 4 berth A class. We'd like a drop down bed over the cab, fixed dinette and twin rear beds. We're looking to spend around £30k.
Any ideas as we seem to be going around in circles looking at various layouts?

Many thanks
Cam

I could suggest you go to Lincoln motorhome show, after two or three days there looking at different layouts, sitting in them and talking to people you should know what you want, if you are still confused there is no hope for you:LOL:

I think one of the Burstner vans in the Aviano range have that set up.

Cant recall the model number now.

How big.. you will struggle to get that in under 7M.. My Euramobil has all that apart from the single beds , but it is an option

Lots of A classes have that layout. I think you'll find that pretty much everyone who makes A class vans have at least one with that layout.

If you have no particular brand preference then it's just a question of finding something you like.

Rapido 855f. 6.94 metres.

They also do several others with the same layout but bigger.

Thanks for the replies, a few there to be looking at. The length is no problem on our drive but the price is, as I said we're looking at spending about £30k. Most seem to have a fixed double not twin beds, but we'll carry on looking.

Thanks again

I'm a newbie and always will be. You never know it all.
Not sure if you'd like this van as it's not an A Class but seems to have the sort of layout you want and looks like a good buy.

Lots now have twin beds, but they only started getting common in 2007 or so. Our previous 2008 Adria had that layout in a C class. Dealer I pxed with was selling it for £33k ish from memory earlier this year. It seems to be a popular layout at the moment and so you may struggle to find an A class in that layout at your budget. But keep looking because you may be lucky especially with a private sale.

We loved our Hymer Exsis i EX 572 it has the layout you are after with a large garage under the beds. It has a slightly narrower width 214cm (7.02') length was 673cm (22.08') it was on a Ford base and to be honest was a far better drive than the Rapido 997M we had on a Mercedes base and our current Rapido on a Fiat. The front dropdown bed was massive and it had a good payload too, from memory around 750kg. One to consider perhaps.
