Avtex - not freesat as such but free to air satellite. You would need a freesat box for "proper" freesat

That would be nice and if Avtex did one I'd even buy it but no one has come up with this yet let alone 12 volts too. A missed trick by manufacturers :(

The next question from punters will be what's wrong with free to air sat? It's shite if you want a proper program guide and to set record or remind of programs up to 7 days ahead.

I have a Solrtronica (whatever that is) that receives free-to-air. It has a decent EPG but no reminders or scheduling.

Our humax freesat box is great, does all that but we want to go to freeview.
Avtex doesn't do it for me though as you can't record.
We want to get rid of our freestanding dish anyway.
