Greetings All,
Whilst we are, for the time being tuggers, (sorry, won't swear again!) we maintain a lifestyle I believe in keeping with the majority on this Forum.
We like to get to warmer climes during the winter and would seek to gain information on sites that could be recommended.
Last year we enjoyed a month at Bonterra Parkin Benicassim and the previous year we were at La Manga.
Can anyone out there recommend a site for the winter months (February/March) that would tick the same boxes as Bonterra Park, ie. close enough to walk into a town that doesn't close up in winter (unlike Moncofa) with a quality to match.
We have access to both the CC and C&CC winter sites books and would welcome feedback on some of the sites given in those publications.:thanks:

 Camping Almafra 5 Star:-

Camping Almafra :: Camping en Benidorm

BTW. It is outside Benidorm on the way to Alfaz del Pi.

Thanks for that.
I've been on their site and can find no sign of prices. Have you (or anyone else) got an idea of this.

To anyone else out there I would be glad of more suggestions. I promise we won't spoil your own personal oasis of calm but we could do with some more suggestions.

10 euros for long stay.
Lovely beach. In main holiday stretch of country so very expensive to eat out but that applies to many coastal sites.
Very good (cheap) bus transport to Malaga and Marbella.
Shopping is about 2Km but easy by bus.
Very popular with Saga Louts from Brit, Holland, German and even Spanish.
Very good facilities
BUT
Don't be there in February with a dog - dreaded Processional Caterpillars!

We saw Bon Repos last year on a day trip out of Blanes. Thought it looked good until the RENFE Express went through.

Stayed on this site & it was great with plenty of room in January.

Camp by the beach, you won't hear the trains from there.

Very cheap travel on the local trains. You can visit all the coastal towns between Barcelona & Blanes.

The trains are not noisy as they slow down & stop at the station a few hundred yards from the site.

Many Funsters have stayed here through the winter & spring.

Hi.

Benidorm. Camping Vilasol/ Camping El Raco. All day life & all night life. Very cheap meals out. We spent 2 winters in benidorm & would have been there again if it was not for our bad health.

Have you tried Camping El Eden in Peniscola ,good discounts for long stays, 10 mins from the town, by the beach, next to the Police station.
Wi-Fi was a good connection 25 Euros a month if I remember correctly cheaper than a dongle and quicker too
