Doing my research on getting a Hiace conversion camper an .
Being a woman on her own and wanting to travel extensively interested in this site and would like to dip into some of the meet up to get a feel for it all .
Have done a lot of sailing and driving abroad but feel I would like the sociability of other like minded people .
Look forward to advice etc

I recently joined had a lot of good advice on this site, like you done quite a bit of sailing and driving abroad but new to MH so I go Europe end of September for up yo 5 months, wife does not want to come she says I am hard work, but she will fly out when she has time of work,

I am a newby on here too, so a big welcome from me also a solo voyager. You get amazing help from folk on here and all you gotta do is ask. I plan on touring europe for several months and to see what happens. Who knows who you'll bump into!

There will be a big contingent of Funsters starting to make their way south soon, I think some have already gone. If you join fully and keep in touch on here there is always someone to meet up with somewhere. Or just to reccommend where to camp.

Welcome along....I used to run a fleet of Toyota Hi Ace vans, they weren't the fastest van ever built but boy were they reliable. With regular servicing they could easily top 250k miles without any issues...unlike a fleet of Fiats I once ran which were a nightmare, unreliable, prone to rust and breakdowns a right pain in the bum.

But that was some years ago and they must have improved, my Fiat inflicted scars are still with me however and hence I have a Ford based motorhome.
