I have been looking on various forums and web sites to get travel insurance for my wife and myself for 9 months in spain portugal possibly italy i have atrial fibrillation medication controlled,no problem for 3 or 6 months but not 9 does anyone know of a company that might be able to help me, or its 6 months with and 3 months praying.

Try insure&go we have annual travel insurance with them, don't think they specify the length of trip. Ours is £93 this year. That is for both of us.

Praying is good my son, put behind you the cheap alcohol and rich foods of the decadent Mediterranean countries and eat a simple diet of bread and water, he will look after you, he will be all the insurance you need.

Just done a quick online quote, £350 for 2 people for 10 Months.

In touch by phone Over 66 they will insure for only 31 days possibly 60 days that is without
reference to any medical conditions as I am 72 with atrial fib I would have no chance with them

insure and go website gives various durations abroad, max I could find being 60 days, how do you long stayers go on

I give up seems like i tried them all from £1000 to £6000 even 6 months very expensive have to rely on healthy eating and drinking to stay fit, thanks everyone for their input, up to Eddies thurs for solar panel fitting.

Insure and go back packer policy they ont specify any length of stay you just tell them what you need we have used them last three winter trips varying from 6 wks to 4 months no problem

Ita a hindrance when you're 72 with a/fibrilation and u want insurance for 9 months still I think I'm fit so will rely on the green card and I do know the limitations

Try justtravelcover.com. We got a very good price for 5 month cover with a couple of medical conditions. They specialise in cover for medical conditions and they seem to get lots of positive reviews.
