I had a photographic exhibition staged at this gallery in Clachan of Campsie in 1989. It was to help commemorate the Forth & Clyde Canals Bi-Centenary and the start of ÂŁ66Million project to reopen the canal to boat traffic. (y) I've spent many happy days in Campsie Glen and in the Fells above it. Happy days. Thanks for posting:)

And deep fried Mars Bar for Pudding?

I have never seen a "deep fried Mars bar" & I'm nearly 56, my education must have missed this gastronomic delight lol. I suppose it'd be way too sweet for me anyway, but popular press seems to think they're everywhere is sunny Scotland. I just know I'm missing something lol.

Welsh & Scottish, an interesting meeting of cultures. We had a house in Pontyates Carmarthenshire & it was what I'd call a steep learning curve, but very enjoyable. We were out in LLanelli on both occasions of Welsh rugby winning the Grand Slam. Wonderful memories & we plan to head back to visit friends asap.
