Subscribed to cc using my mobile. Now want to connect using laptop so need to remove user from phone. No idea how to do this, campsite can't help, no info on website. Sent message to provider but hoped someone on hear can help.

I know some providers clearly state this can only be used on one device but CC say it can be used on different platforms but obviously not at the same time.

Not long enough!
Can you log off on your mobile and then log on using your laptop?

this is a 'pay to use' internet connection, for a campsite wifi..

as far as I know it can only be registered and used on one device.. this is to prevent it being used on multiple devices by different users.

call telephone support to help http://www.caravanconnect.co.uk/support/telephone-support

From their FAQ:

"You can only use your Caravan Connect subscription on one device at a time. If you need to access the Internet on more than one device simultaneously then you will need to have multiple accounts."

Solved by usb tethering laptop to my phone but not very convenient.

just as I said..

Also... It's an expensive way to connect..

A Mifi with a 3 sim with 12 gb data would work out much cheaper in the long term..

There is a difference. They use the phrase "one device at a time" not "one device". This implies the connection is transferable so long as you can logout of the previous device.

There is zero (2G or 3G) mobile data available at this site. Normally I would just use my 4GB allowance and create a hotspot.

Did try that but no joy, think there has to be some link back to their site to switch. Thanks for the replies, will wait for CC to reply and post on here.

Reply from CC today

"Thank you for contacting caravan connect today.

In answer to your question, if you have only 1 account you can use various devices but only one device at a time.

To use another device under the same username please disconnect from your current device in your wifi settings and leave for 10/15 minutes before logging on with a different device.

Thank you and kind regards,

Caravan Connect Support."

Hope this helps anyone else using the system.
