Has anyone come through Calais ferry port in the past few days the news as said they are blocking the port of Calais on the A16 motorway.

We returned back on Sunday morning with no problem every thing was running as normal must say it was very busy on Saturday night with every body returning to the UK but we did have two bike stolen in Calais Saturday night beware.

Sorry no.... we came via Dunkuerqe today. BUT The chaos around the A16 joining towards Calais made us decide on alternative route. It seems loads of HGV drivers agreed as the northern route was very busy (D300)
Gendarmerie very visible by their presence.

Came back this morning, A16 shut so went on back roads to tunnel added 20 mins max.

Lots of police and army but didn't see anything else.

Tunnel train was empty

Thanks 955matt we go on Thursday looking forward to the trip but bothered what is happening around Calais
