Cheap and full-time .. hard one Bill .. max time on any site is 3 weeks and 28 days on a CC Certified location

Best bet is to look for a CL / Cs close to where you want to be, book in for the max 28days , play it by ear.. get friendly with the owner and help out .. you may be allowed to stay a bit longer .. or even stay as long as you like.. (unofficially ) or

you may have to move to another CL and alternate between them.. that's what we had to do

Not long enough!
I've stayed 4 nights at the little rodee car park. About £7 for 24 hours.
Get ticket from low level machine. I've heard high level will charge you coach rates.
Loos are open, but if you have a radar key, you will gave 24 hour access to the disabled loo in the car park.
And don't park in the coach spaces :)

Shrewsbury is a fair way for a daily commute from Chester Sue.

Been getting away since 2008
There's a little CL site in Hadnall, 50yds from the boozer. Just depends which side of Shrewsbury you'll be working really.
I live in Wem and there's a site here but personally don't think it's up to much.
If you are struggling I know a guy that's got some land with electricity/water etc thats only 10mins from Shrewsbury and probably wouldn't want a lot.

Hi Bill

My post last night seems to still be in space, so another two options for you.

At Montford Bridge, The Wingfield Arms Campsite. I know several workers have enjoyed "Long stays" there, its listed on the ukcampsites website.

Another site we have overwintered on is Oxen Touring Park, which is in Shrewsbury, has excellent facilities with local shops and is next to a park and ride. There used to be a deal with the site which they gave you a pass so you can use the p&r without parking a car. When we stayed we hired a seasonal pitch for the period, worked out very well for us.

Good luck with your project.
