Lining up c rail on van (1 Viewer)

C awning rail three 1.2 bits coming tomorrow thought would go out and measure where it's going to be positioned mm ok not so easy the drive is sloping slightly down ( not much) decals yellow / silver drop 6" back to the front , height of rail has to be between 250 and 270 cm so at one point is going to cross the decals , only level thing is the top of Windows to roof edge
Ime normally very good and precise at measurements perhaps Ime trying to hard eh

Can you not measure up 270 cm from the bottom edge of the van wall at both ends ... then mark with chalk line

Tried that but standing back aways it doesn't look right perhaps the decals are throwing it out being on a downward slope

A photo would help.. but I'm thinking it's an optical illusion.. if you measured up from the bottom it must be right... (says he )

Awning will be too short to reach the floor if he does that
