Up Grading your MH? (1 Viewer)

Over the last few months there has been on MHF details of whom to contact re upgrading from 3.5. I am having my full medical and eye test on the 1st September (with Doctors on Wheels £51) I can't see my there should be any trouble passing the medical to get my C1 back.

Is there a company who can do it for you or can it be by yourself?

We are in the process of up rating, paperwork sent to Dvla, awaiting their reply.

We uprated but only gained 150kg due to rear axle loading, just enough didn't want to fork out £1500 (DIY price) for air on an Al-Ko chassis.

Another here for JR Consultancy, Bury St Edmund's, as @Warty's post above.

Just done ours from 5T to 5.5T GVW.
SV Tech told me that the GTW wouldn't change from 5.2T. Well, it has now using JR Consultancy, and has been increased to 6.5T. This recent upgrade, has all been achieved without any physical or mechanical changes to the vehicle or chassis.

Well pleased, to say the least and at less than half the price SVTech wanted to charge.

Yip read it ago Mel , it was very good to see you were able to get it all sorted , and help others get the job done cheaper than SV Tech
