CHARITY AUCTION

Were having a clean out and I have a Limited Edition Welsh Grand Slam Plate. This is indeed a rare item. We might not see the likes of it again ;) It's in mint condition and would quickly become a treasured heirloom. The auction closes at midnight on 31st August.

Please bid in this thread. The highest bidder at precisely 10pm on the 31st will pay their bid amount directly to the charity Myaware once the donation is recorded at JustGiving this valuable item will be posted to the winner free of charge. I know we have a lot of generous welshmen on the forum, but even if you are English you could still bid and use it for cat litter or similar. It's for a very good cause indeed. Please Bid, thanks.

Trouble is, we have had 2 since then so it affects the value.

Might use it as a cat litter though, so £40(y)

I'm a suckered for this sort of thing.. know nothing about the condition ,but often it's these rarer conditions which need more support.. so let's set the bar at £100 and see how serious the Welsh are at retaining their memoribila.....
I support Ireland so not sure what I'd do with it :)...

Well I will prob bid again but tactics will now come in
Tactics???
You mean that you're going to ask the Mrs for some pocket money
'Man up' and tell her straight
"It's my money and if I want to buy a Welsh Plate I'm going to - live with it chick !"
Alternatively you could ask her for an advance on your pocket money for the next 5 years

I am out I am afraid after a very costly holiday.
Count me in for a £40 donation anyway Jim.

I will do it when I get a moment(y)

We haven't yet learnt to use knives & forks up here in the North;), therefore not interested in plates:rolleyes:. But I'll match the £40 offer by my fellow Welshman Chris. Just let me know how you'd like payment.

Just seen post below - payment completed.

Sorry - I was only pulling your leg
I don't need a Walsh plate
I'd just like to see this cause raise a whole load of money - it's not a 'popular' condition, so maybe it deserves all the publicity and support we can give it.

Haha looks like you've paid £200 for a Welsh plate you don't want! Bet Mrs C will be pleased!! But a great gesture for the charity!
I don't have PayPal but will donate at next rally meet.
